Do you or your loved one:
Art Steps for Elders is for you!
Sign-up for a new pilot program where you (and your caregiver, friend, or aide) can safely walk with others indoors and stop and look at art, talk about it, and meet with some of the makers of the art. We will pause at points along the way for some simple guided stretches, movements, meditations, and art-making to get your whole body and spirit connected to the creative process all around you.
Some art studios will be open and participants can get a view of an artist in action!
Seats will be placed along the journey for those who need to sit and take a break.
Snacks and beverages will be provided.
Caregivers, aides, and friends are invited to join.
Art Steps for Elders is conceived and presented by multidimensional dance artist Stefanie Weber who’s studio resides on the 3rd floor of The Clock Tower Business Center as part of the Clock Tower Artists floor.
For this pilot program: Stefanie will take participants on a lively walking loop around the 3rd floor art gallery that surrounds the studio of over 20 local artists. Along the way she will stop at certain pieces of art and divulge secrets about them while also guiding folks in some much needed relevant movements and stretches. Other artists in the Clock Tower may join us along the way!
Art Steps for Elders is presented with support from The Fancy Nancy Foundation and is currently seeking other foundational support, sponsorship, and funding for its pilot program for Winter 2026/2027.
