i haven’t given up on the site. really, i haven’t. i’m just better at the non-virtual world. believe it or not. (never thought i’d hear myself say that.)
anyways.
i’ll be in William Oberst’s studio on Holden St. for North Adams Open Studios on Sat from 2-4 and Sunday from 1-3. i’ll be floating. Objects. and Ideas. Come visit.
presently planning a party for creatures and creature supporters.
i cannot seem to enjoy being on the computer enough to get anything done. maybe once i get a laptop again if will be easier.
going back to the drawing board for the beginning and ending of habitat (de) frag.
stay tuned, as usual.
work on the site has really slowed down…because of all the work going into getting the COH to PHILLY for the FRINGE.
help us out
by pledging a couple bucks here to our online fundraiser
and check out a few of these new vibrant photos by Brattleboro photographer Zachary Stephens from our time there.
Take a 15min break and listen in to this off-the-cuff interview with Jim Maxwell on his weekly Art Talk show on WVEW 107.7 LPFM: Brattleboro Community Radio from yesterday. We talk a little bit about the process of the COH eNsemble and our preparations for the show coming up next week at Luminz. www.luminzstudio.com
Special thanks to the ever evanescent Lance Monotone for “toning” the talk up for online listening.
Yesterday was another busy day for this lynx, as I speedily left the above interview then rehearsal in Brattleboro at Luminz with performers (cast of the COH: LITTLE WHEELS) Lauren Reedy and Elizabeth Hallet to make it back to North Adams for a late night sweaty jazz tap dialogue at the Elf Parlor with valve trombonist Mike Fahn. We worked out a few Monk tunes and my favorite Sunrise, Sunset as well as a few bossa +latin groove tunes. stay tuned for more of Sole&Bone especially after I get myself a portable floor that works. i’m working on that.
….heading over to Brattleboro today to continue onward with prepping COH for the show at Luminz on the 17th + 18th.
meanwhile….the site is still in redevelopment phase…it won’t be long…we’re getting there…
we’re getting closer and closer to finding what is going to be right for this site.
hang in there, it will be more interesting soon enough.
for now:
